Cuan­do se miden for­mas com­ple­jas, las su­per­fi­cies y los co­lores de los ob­je­tos varían, se re­quiere la máxima precisión mi­cro­mé­tri­ca y va­lores de medición es­tables a la tem­pe­ra­tu­ra, los sen­sores de dis­tan­cia láser de triangulación de la serie P3 des­plie­gan un ren­di­mien­to in­igua­lable, tam­bién gra­cias a la ex­clu­si­va tecnología Tri­pleA. Los sen­sores CMOS son ade­cua­dos para di­fe­rentes apli­ca­ciones en dis­tan­cias de hasta 1.000 mm. Comparación de los for­ma­tos de la serie P3

La serie P3 está dis­po­nible en dos for­ma­tos di­fe­rentes: el for­ma­to 3P (P3PC) y el for­ma­to 3E (P3EC). A di­fe­ren­cia de los sen­sores P3PC, cuyo rango de tra­ba­jo va de 30 mm a 660 mm, los sen­sores de dis­tan­cia P3EC ofre­cen un rango de tra­ba­jo am­plia­do de 150 mm a 1.000 mm. Por lo tanto, los sen­sores P3EC son ideales para ta­reas de medición en un rango de tra­ba­jo de hasta 1.000 mm.

Jump de­tec­tion is one func­tion of the P3 laser dis­tance sen­sors. The changes in the mea­su­red value, i.e. the jumps, are eva­lua­ted ra­ther than the ab­so­lute dis­tances. Jump de­tec­tion can be used as an edge coun­ting me­thod, e.g. when coun­ting news­pa­pers on a conveyor.

Laser tri­an­gu­la­tion sen­sors are ar­ran­ged op­po­site each other for thi­ck­ness mea­su­re­ment. The sen­sors use the tri­an­gu­la­tion me­thod to de­tect the dis­tance to the ob­ject and cal­cu­late the thi­ck­ness of the mea­su­red ob­ject from both va­lues.

P3PC laser distance sensor width and thickness measurement
For dif­fe­ren­tial mea­su­re­ment, laser dis­tance sen­sors are ar­ran­ged next to each other. A sen­sor mea­sures the dis­tance to a back­ground, for example a conveyor belt, and ano­ther sen­sor mea­sures to the ob­ject. The dif­fe­rence bet­ween the two mea­su­red va­lues is cal­cu­la­ted and out­put di­rect­ly by the main sen­sor.

Pa­ra­me­tri­za­tion can be car­ried out ea­si­ly via Blue­tooth app. This func­tion makes the pro­cess much ea­sier, es­pe­cial­ly with sen­sors that are dif­fi­cult to ac­cess or ins­tal­led in large num­bers, as it al­lows the in­di­vi­dual sen­sors to be pa­ra­me­te­ri­zed qui­ck­ly.
