Estos sensores de ultrasonidos evalúan el sonido reflejado por un objeto. Detectan casi todos los objetos y son especialmente apropiados para el control del nivel de llenado de líquidos o materiales a granel o la detección de objetos transparentes. El sensor registra objetos independientemente de su material, estado de agregación, color o transparencia. La pantalla gráfica permite el ajuste simple de los sensores mediante menús.
