Possible Uses for U18T Ultrasonic Sensors

Object Detection

In the food industry, baked goods are transported in boxes through the various process steps. Before cleaning the boxes, it has to be ensured that there is no product left in the boxes. For this purpose, two ultrasonic distance sensors are installed next to each other above the conveyor belt, which emit ultrasonic waves and thus check the contents of the boxes.

Presence Check

In the furniture industry, wooden panels with different colors, shapes, degrees of gloss and surfaces are conveyed on roller conveyor belts to the next process step. In order to monitor the transport fully automatically, the presence of the panels must be recorded at all times.
