Vision System Visual Quality Control of Oil Canisters
Injection molded parts made of plastic must be visually inspected for defined quality characteristics after production. A Vision system consisting of several cameras, illuminations, lenses, a control unit and the uniVision image processing software checks, for example, the geometry, color, inclusions, overinjection or underinjection or sprue separations on oil canisters. The position and completeness of insert parts can also be determined. Test results can be displayed directly via web-based visualization and faulty parts can be rejected.
