Vacuum Monitoring with Pressure Sensors in the Production of Glass Bottles
In the manufacture of glass bottles, liquid raw glass is poured into finished molds and then shaped into bottles by air pressure. This creates an overpressure inside the body and a vacuum outside the bottle in the gap between the mold. This must be precisely monitored by a pressure sensor to ensure consistent quality for all bottles and to reduce production times. If the pressure value exceeds or falls below a defined tolerance threshold, the faulty glass is automatically rejected.
Pressure Sensors
Pressure sensors with integrated analysis module measure pressure for hydraulics, pneumatics and process technology. The weFlux² series, with which pressure and temperature are measured simultaneously, also has IO-Link. This allows parameter data to be configured and transmitted.
