Automotive Industry
In the automotive industry, robots combine aluminum body parts with rivets. In automated punch-riveting processes, aluminum or brass objects are transported to the punching device through plastic hoses by compressed air. The correct hose routing is checked before the rivets are automatically mounted. For this purpose, an inductive ring sensor with adjustable sensitivity and correction factor 1 is mounted on the hose with a clamp. This ensures reliable detection of objects of different sizes and alloys.

Assembly and Feeding Technology
In assembly and feeding technology, fasteners such as screws, nuts and rivets are automatically conveyed, sorted and separated by feeding systems. These are supplied to the screw system via feed hoses by compressed air. Inductive ring sensors mounted on the hose detect metal parts as small as 2 mm at high speed. The separable housing enables easy assembly and disassembly. The presence of the parts is visualized by all-round lighting.
