Du­ring the auto­ma­tic re­mo­val of flat metal she­ets from a supply by a robot, se­ve­ral she­ets can stick to­get­her due to the mag­ne­tic char­ge. The thick­ness of the she­ets must be de­tec­ted to en­su­re that only one sheet per as­sembly pro­cess is grip­ped.

This video shows a prac­ti­cal example de­monst­ra­ting how quickly and easily the P3 sen­sors can be set up for thick­ness me­asu­re­ment. Re­fe­ren­cing makes set­ting for thick­ness me­asu­re­ment quick and easy. The laser dis­tan­ce sen­sors with disp­lay enab­le di­rect re­ading of the ob­ject thick­ness on the main sen­sor. It is also pos­sib­le to con­fi­gu­re the sen­sors via Blu­eto­oth via the weCon app and con­ve­ni­ently call up the me­asu­re­ment re­sults.
