Reflex Sensors

Re­flex sen­sors are well sui­ted for ap­pli­ca­tions in which ob­jects must be de­tec­ted without a back­ground. Note that: Bright ob­jects re­flect more light than dark ob­jects, and can thus be re­cog­ni­zed from grea­ter dis­tan­ces. This means that pre­sen­ce or stack height checks can be con­duc­ted or quan­ti­ties de­tec­ted.
