Our Services

Remote Services

Our support team supports and helps you with sensor configuration, software parameterization, troubleshooting or individual requests via remote access via TeamViewer. Remote maintenance makes it possible to communicate with experts and get help quickly.

Requirements for Remote Access
  • There must be both an internet connection to the PC and a connection to the device.

Feasibility Studies

When it comes to feasibility studies for sensors or 2D/3D image processing systems, we are happy to support you in one of our optimally equipped solution centers worldwide. Contact us and then send us your sample parts. We will then work together to create solutions that meet your specific requirements and help you achieve your goals. We will provide you with detailed documentation with recommendations.

Support with Commissioning

Our experienced customer support team is available at 21 sales offices worldwide to help you ensure smooth commissioning. A service technician checks the specified parameters to ensure that your systems are working optimally. On request, your employees can be instructed and trained on wenglor products directly at the system. This service can be booked directly when purchasing a product.

Support for the Following Activities
  • Adjustment of sensors, cameras, lenses and illumination to match the existing setup
  • Adjustment of wenglor products and parameterization of wenglor software to match the application
  • Creation of a visualization interface
  • Parameterization of the interfaces (Ethernet, PROFINET, etc.)
  • Up to 8 hours of on-site support
  • Up to 4 hours of additional remote support
  • Lead time approx. 3 months

Our global support team is always available to support you and your customers around the world.

Safety Approvals

The inspection of electro-sensitive protective equipment (ESPE) before commissioning serves to check the correct installation and function. Machines that are subject to a high degree of use must also be inspected regularly, at least once a year, in order to continue to ensure the safety of people and machines. This service is offered exclusively in Germany.

Safety Acceptance Procedure
  • Testing of the protective equipment for standard-compliant assembly and installation as well as correct function
  • Manufacturer-independent testing
  • Stopping time measurement
  • Calculation of the required safety distance between the danger point and the electro-sensitive protective equipment in accordance with EN ISO 13855
  • Creation of a detailed report
  • Attachment of an inspection mark on the system

Training

From basics training to intensive training – there are numerous ways to learn in detail about wenglor products and their application possibilities in theory and practice. Whether in our wenglor training centers or on your premises, experts from the industry ensure the necessary knowledge transfer and provide support in solving individual challenges.
