Tettnang
The company’s headquarters are located in the Upper Swabian town of Tettnang on Lake Constance, a town famous for its hops. The company’s current complex with over 26,000 m² of floor space and five buildings was developed in 1989 and has since been continuously extended and expanded.
The Tettnang site employs over 400 people in development, production, warehousing, logistics, administration and management. The wenglor sensoric and wenglor fluid (since 2012) competence centers at the site have been developing and manufacturing a wide range of sensors as well as numerous image processing and software products.
Unterschleißheim
With the integration of wenglorMEL GmbH in 2013, the wenglor sensoric group has greatly expanded its expertise in the field of 2D/3D technology. In Unterschleißheim near Munich, Bavaria, over 75 employees work in the development and production of smart 2D/3D sensors.
Berlin
With the acquisition of software developer wenglor Deevio GmbH in 2023, wenglor is gaining greater know-how in artificial intelligence (AI) and data science while also creating new opportunities for future innovations in the field of machine vision. The Berlin-based company employs over eight people in software development.
Sibiu
Founded in 2002, wenglor Romania in Sibiu (Hermannstadt) is now the second largest production and development site of the wenglor sensoric group. The production and development capacity of the smart factory was doubled in 2019 to over 5,000 m² of usable space in total. More than 300 employees are employed at this location.
Perth
With TPL Vision, wenglor was able to broaden and expand its knowledge in the field of industrial image processing lighting. TPL Vision has been a division of the wenglor group since 2021 and continues to operate as an independent business unit. TPL Vision UK Ltd is headquartered in Perth and has a usable area of 297 m², including its own Vision Lab. At the headquarters in Scotland, more than 12 employees work in the areas of administration, marketing, research and development and sales.
La Chevrolière
The lighting manufacturer TPL Vision has been part of the wenglor group since 2021. The division operates as an independent business unit, both at the headquarters in Scotland and at the French site in La Chevrolière (Nantes). The French production and development site employs over 18 employees in the areas of purchasing, logistics, quality assurance, marketing and sales over an area of 1,050 m².
Belgrade
wenglor sensoric doo Beograd, based in Belgrade, has been a development site of the wenglor group since 2023, specializing in the field of machine vision. More than five employees are employed at the Serbian site with 90 m² of usable space.
