Inspection of Sealing Rings in Car Air Conditioning Systems via Vision System
In the automotive industry, pipe connections with seals are required for car air conditioning systems. In order to ensure maximum tightness, the sealing rings made of metal and rubber must be checked for roundness and possible defects in the rubberized part. A vision system consisting of a machine vision camera, control unit and infrared backlight is installed on the conveyor line for this purpose. The individual sealing rings are visually inspected via image recording and evaluation. Faulty parts are automatically sorted out. Different ring sizes can be adjusted quickly and easily.
