Application Variety
Fill-Level Monitoring of Packaged Food Products in Containers with Retro-Reflex Sensors for Transparent Objects h3>
Hand Detection on Taps with Reflex Sensors with Background Suppression h3>
Automatic hand wash basins, soap dispensers and hand dryers are used in the food industry, but also in highly frequented public areas. A reflex sensor with background suppression is mounted under the respective mixer tap, which triggers the water jet, soap dispenser and hand dryer when hands are detected.
In addition to the optical operating principles, ultrasonic sensors in R design are also available. By using sound waves, they provide a reliable solution for demanding applications where precise detection is essential. Thanks to their compact design and flexible mounting options, they are as easy to integrate as their optical counterparts.
