Hand Detection in Hand Cleaning Stations with Reflex Sensors with Background Suppression
Automatic hand wash basins, soap dispensers and hand dryers are used in the food industry, but also in highly frequented public areas. A reflex sensor with background suppression is mounted under the respective mixer tap, which triggers the water jet, soap dispenser and hand dryer when hands are detected. In addition to improving hand hygiene, such non-contact stations also contribute to the economical use of water and soap.
Reflex Sensors With Background Suppression
Reflex sensors with background suppression detect and measure objects contactlessly and detect them in front of any defined background. They work with red light, infrared light, blue light or laser light. Thanks to the principle of angle measurement, the color, shape and object surface have no influence on the switching behavior of the sensors.
