High-Temperature Sensors

The sensors for the high temperature range are distinguished by their robust and particularly heat-resistant housing design, which is designed for temperatures of up to 450 °C. This allows the sensors to be mounted in systems with high ambient temperatures – for example in the automotive or steel industry.

Easy Sensor Head Replacement

Hot systems such as drying ovens do not need to be switched off for sensor replacement – replacement can now take place during operation with appropriate protective equipment.

Inductive sensors detect metallic objects through electromagnetic induction. The INTT series for extreme temperature ranges is characterized by increased switching distances and a very robust design, which makes it suitable for years of use in machines and systems with very high temperatures.

The INTT series features the innovative weproTec technology, which enables the installation of several sensors in the tightest of spaces without mutual interference. The sensor parameters are conveniently configured via IO-Link. When the sensor is replaced, the settings are adopted directly thanks to the data storage function.
For applications with temperatures up to 450 °C, the INRT series supplements the portfolio of inductive sensors for extreme temperature ranges.

High Temperature Sensors in Use – Heat Resistant and Precise

Detection of Metal Skids in Drying Systems

In drying systems in the automotive industry, paints applied to body shells must be heated for drying. The chassis are transported through the furnace on skid beams using chain conveyors. The side-mounted sensors with a high switching distance reliably detect the skid beams despite the production tolerances of the welded beams.
