In logistics centers, shuttle systems must automatically deliver goods from the warehouse to production. Laser distance sensors Time of Flight with wintec integrated on the front detect in advance end positions or forward-moving shuttles in the field of vision up to ten meters ahead so that shuttles can slow down or stop. In order to connect buildings to each other, they pass through transparent pipes outdoors. Neither sunlight nor reflective surfaces influence the switching behavior of sensors equipped with wintec.

Laser Distance Sensors Time of Flight

Laser distance sensors Time-of-Flight (ToF) work according to the principle of transit time measurement, which means that they cover large working ranges up to 10,000 mm, so that objects can be reliably detected even at great distances. The ToF sensors are extremely robust against interfering ambient light, which ensures reliable operation.
