Large logistics centers use a variety of plastic boxes for the transportation, storage and retrieval of all types of items. There are 1Dácodes on the plastic boxes with information about the items contained in the box. These barcodes are subject to wear over time. Barcode raster scanners are used for identification. Thanks to the high scan rate and the wide scanning range, they capture the codes quickly and, thanks to the TCP/IP interface, enable rapid data exchange between the scanner and the control system.

Barcode Raster Scanners

Raster scanners process high frequency barcodes in a wide scanning range. Teach-in can activate a mode that automatically sets the scan rate and scan width. The scan is confirmed by means of an acoustic and visual signal, even if the codes are damaged. Networking to bus systems is possible via separate gateways.
