Inspection of Seals by Machine Vision Camera
Special high-temperature seals are used in hydrogen fuel cells for the automotive industry. These must be checked very precisely for dimensional accuracy and damage during production. For this purpose, several machine vision cameras, in combination with telecentric lenses, are connected to a machine vision controller and positioned over an inspection table. Thanks to the high resolution of the camera and the homogeneous illumination by bar light, the inside and outside diameters are measured precisely and damage is reliably detected.
