Detection of Baking Trays with Inductive Sensors for Extreme Temperature Ranges
In the production of baked goods in commercial bakeries, dough pieces are transported on stainless steel baking trays through special ovens and baked at temperatures of up to 250 ºC. In order to monitor the presence of the trays, inductive sensors for extreme temperature ranges are installed in the oven. In addition to extreme temperature fluctuations, these sensors must also withstand interference such as mechanical influences. Even the hot steam generated in the oven does not affect the sensor’s function thanks to the IP65 degree of protection.
Inductive Sensors for Extreme Temperature Ranges
These inductive sensors detect contactlessly metallic objects in extreme temperature ranges. With increased switching distances and a very robust design, the sensors are designed for a long service life of several years.
