Presence Detection of Packaging on Conveyor Belts with Reflex Sensors with Background Suppression
In the pharmaceutical and cosmetics industry, packaging with different materials must be reliably detected from the front edge on conveyor lines before and after filling. Reflex sensors with background suppression are installed at several points above the conveyor belt. Thanks to the laser sensors with high switching frequency and small spot, the edges of the objects are detected quickly and precisely. The background suppression of the sensors in the universal 1M design ensures reliable switching behavior despite different backgrounds.
Reflex Sensors With Background Suppression
Reflex sensors with background suppression detect and measure objects contactlessly and detect them in front of any defined background. They work with red light, infrared light, blue light or laser light. Thanks to the principle of angle measurement, the color, shape and object surface have no influence on the switching behavior of the sensors.
