Inductive Ring Sensors with Separable Housing
wenglor sensoric group inductive ring sensors set new standards for reliable and precise detection of small metal parts within feed hoses. In addition to sensor precision, the ring sensors impress in particular due to the separable housing, which enables the sensor to be mounted and removed from the hose quickly and flexibly. The use of correction factor 1 ensures reliable detection of all metal objects from a minimum size of 2 mm.  wenglor’s inductive ring sensors reliably detect metal objects at any point within the ring-shaped opening. The separable housing with two-part coil makes the installation process of the sensor on the hose much easier. Consequently, machine downtime can also be minimized when replacing hoses or during repairs. The portfolio includes both dynamic and static ring sensors. The dynamic functional principle captures small fast moving parts, such as rivets. Static ring sensors also detect objects inside the ring, e.g. for jam checks.  Robust Soft Binder Enables Safe and Flexible Use A flexible soft-binder on the sensor ensures simple and secure mounting on hoses of different sizes. This ensures stable fixing without hose deformation even in demanding environments with heavy vibrations, strong magnetic fields or compressed air. The soft binder also prevents the hose from tapering. Loss protection and the re-openable closure of the soft binder enable it to be reused multiple times  High Ease of Use When Working on Feed Hoses Another advantage is the cable outlet in the hose direction, which makes the sensors ideally suited even in confined spaces. The parallel cable outlet in the hose direction also helps to prevent obstruction of the system design and kinking of the cable. The status and switching status of the inductive ring sensors can be detected regardless of the installation position thanks to the all-round visible LED display. U18T Ultrasonic Sensors in Stainless Steel Housing
With the U18T ultrasonic sensors, the wenglor sensoric group offers a series in the usual M18 design in stainless steel housing, which impresses with its high stability and reliability. The U18T sensors are ideal for detecting shiny, transparent and dark objects and can even reliably detect mirrored surfaces. With the existing IO-Link interface, the ultrasonic sensors are suitable for flexible integration into various systems in a detection range of up to 2,400 mm. The U18T series is available as variants with switching and analog output. The working range is up to 1,200 mm in reflex mode, and up to 2,400 mm in through beam mode. The U18T ultrasonic technology includes different operating modes for precise adaptation to different application situations: The automatic synchronous mode is optimally designed for detecting objects without delay. This means that up to 32 sensors can be operated in parallel in this mode. Multiplex operation, in turn, is ideal for level monitoring of large areas and enables joint operation of up to 16 sensors without mutual influence. The stainless steel housing ensures high stability and is robust against environmental influences thanks to the IP67 degree of protection. The integrated IO-Link interface provides flexibility in parameterization and configuration.
