Scanning of DataMatrix Codes on Transparent Rear Windows with 1D/2D Code Scanner
In the production of passenger car rear windows, several window variants must be identified, differentiated and tracked. A small black DataMatrix code is applied directly on the transparent glass of the panes. This must be read and decoded by a 1D/2D code scanner in passing on the conveyor line before the panes are stored – despite constantly changing light conditions and backgrounds. Thanks to auto-focus and a large visual field, the codes can be reliably detected at various points on the rear window.
1D/2D Code Scanners
1D/2D code scanners read printed, engraved, etched or directly marked codes at high speeds – regardless of the location, position or condition of the code. Data can be transferred via Industrial Ethernet and settings can be received via the intuitive user interface Weblink.
