wen­glor uni­Vi­sion 3 ist eine Soft­ware zum Ein­stel­len von wen­glor Ma­chi­ne Vi­sion Pro­duk­ten zur Lösung von Auf­ga­ben im Be­reich der in­du­striel­len Bild­ve­rar­bei­tung. Über eine gra­fi­sche Benutzeroberfläche kann die Da­te­nau­swer­tung durch den mo­du­la­ren Soft­wareauf­bau fle­xi­bel ge­stal­tet wer­den, damit un­ter­schied­li­ch­ste Auf­ga­ben wie Co­de­le­sun­gen, Vollständigkeitsprüfungen oder La­geer­ken­nun­gen in­di­vi­duell gelöst wer­den können. Neben der ein­fa­chen Pa­ra­me­trie­rung ist auch die Pro­gram­mie­rung durch das Ein­bin­den von HALCON-​Scripten aus der Soft­ware HDe­ve­lop von MVTec möglich.

AI with uni­Vi­sion 3

uni­Vi­sion 3 com­bi­nes rule-​based image pro­ces­sing al­go­ri­thms with deep lear­ning tech­no­lo­gies. The “Deep OCR” mo­du­le uses pre-​trained neu­ral net­works to ac­cu­ra­te­ly iden­ti­fy and read let­ters and num­bers. Com­pa­red to tra­di­tio­nal OCR, for exam­ple, this me­thod can de­tect and out­put prin­ted la­bels re­gard­less of the font, size and spa­cing. This saves time by eli­mi­na­ting the need for con­fi­gu­ra­tion and grea­tly in­crea­ses ro­bust­ness. The “ONNX” mo­du­le opens up the po­wer­ful pos­si­bi­li­ty of run­ning AI mo­dels di­rec­tly on the uni­Vi­sion 3 hard­ware. This tech­no­lo­gy pro­vi­des a fle­xi­ble and fast so­lu­tion for image clas­si­fi­ca­tion wi­thout the need for ad­di­tio­nal hard­ware.

Thanks to the com­mon stan­dard in­ter­fa­ces such as TCP/IP and in­du­strial Ether­net in­ter­fa­ces such as PRO­FI­NET, Ether­Net/IP and Ether­CAT, the uni­Vi­sion 3 ma­chi­ne vi­sion soft­ware can be quic­kly and ea­si­ly in­te­gra­ted into any in­fra­struc­tu­re. The “Deep OCR” mo­du­le uses ad­van­ced deep lear­ning tech­no­lo­gy to re­lia­bly re­co­gni­ze let­ters and num­bers. Thanks to a pre-​trained neu­ral net­work, there is no need to crea­te your own trai­ning data or to train a net­work. The mo­du­le is the­re­fo­re ready to use with just a few set­tings. In con­tra­st to clas­sic OCR, it ena­bles pre­ci­se re­co­gni­tion of dy­na­mic text with va­ria­ble font sizes and dif­fe­rent back­grounds, even with spe­ci­fi­cal­ly de­si­gned im­prin­ts and la­bels.
