I sen­so­ri per alte tem­pe­ra­tu­re sono ca­rat­te­riz­za­ti da un de­si­gn cu­sto­dia ro­bu­sto e par­ti­co­lar­men­te re­si­sten­te al ca­lo­re, pro­get­ta­to per tem­pe­ra­tu­re fino a 450 °C. In que­sto modo i sen­so­ri pos­so­no es­se­re mon­ta­ti in im­pian­ti con tem­pe­ra­tu­re am­bien­te ele­va­te, ad esem­pio nell in­du­stria au­to­mo­bi­li­sti­ca o dell’ac­cia­io.

In­duc­ti­ve sen­sors de­tect me­tal­lic ob­jec­ts th­rou­gh elec­tro­ma­gne­tic in­duc­tion. The INTT se­ries for ex­tre­me tem­pe­ra­tu­re ran­ges is cha­rac­te­ri­zed by in­crea­sed swit­ching di­stan­ces and a very ro­bu­st de­si­gn, which makes it sui­ta­ble for years of use in ma­chi­nes and sy­stems with very high tem­pe­ra­tu­res. 

The INTT se­ries fea­tu­res the in­no­va­ti­ve we­pro­Tec tech­no­lo­gy, which ena­bles the in­stal­la­tion of se­ve­ral sen­sors in the tighte­st of spa­ces wi­thout mu­tual in­ter­fe­ren­ce. The sen­sor pa­ra­me­ters are con­ve­nien­tly con­fi­gu­red via IO-​Link. When the sen­sor is re­pla­ced, the set­tings are adop­ted di­rec­tly thanks to the data sto­ra­ge func­tion.
For ap­pli­ca­tions with tem­pe­ra­tu­res up to 450 °C, the INRT se­ries sup­ple­men­ts the port­fo­lio of in­duc­ti­ve sen­sors for ex­tre­me tem­pe­ra­tu­re ran­ges.

De­tec­tion of Metal Skids in Dry­ing Sy­stems

In dry­ing sy­stems in the au­to­mo­ti­ve in­du­stry, pain­ts ap­plied to body shells must be hea­ted for dry­ing. The chas­sis are trans­por­ted th­rou­gh the fur­na­ce on skid beams using chain con­veyors. The side-​mounted sen­sors with a high swit­ching di­stan­ce re­lia­bly de­tect the skid beams de­spi­te the pro­duc­tion to­le­ran­ces of the wel­ded beams.
