Space-saving short format
The U30T ultrasonic sensor in the standardized, short M30 design ensures quick and easy installation. It can be used as both a reflex sensor and an ultrasonic through-beam barrier, offering maximum flexibility. The IO-Link interface ensures convenient parameterization so that the ultrasonic distance sensor can be individually adapted to the relevant industrial requirements. The robust U30T sensor also has synchronous and multiplex mode, which enable reliable use in complex applications.
Synchronous or Multiplex Mode h3>
For the use of multiple sensors, the U30T offers two different operating modes:
Automatic Synchronous Mode
Automatic Synchronous Mode
- Up to 32 sensors can be operated at the same time
- Optimal mode for detecting e.g. wooden boards without delay
- Simultaneous operation of up to 16 sensors without mutual influence
- Ideal for level monitoring of large areas
Diverse Usage Options
Presence Check
Fill Level Monitoring
Sag Detection
Stacking Height Monitoring
Other Applications
Fill Level Monitoring of Waste Containers h3>
In recycling facilities, containers for waste materials such as paper, plastic, glass and metal must be continuously checked for their fill level. Replacing too soon or too late can lead to production downtime and high costs. To avoid this, ultrasonic distance sensors are installed above the containers, which measure the level precisely, even under difficult conditions such as dust development, temperature differences or changing material types.
Unwinding Control of Steel Coils h3>
In the metalworking industry, a continuous flow of material and process must be ensured when unwinding and further processing steel coils. For this purpose, an ultrasonic distance sensor is installed above the rolls, which reliably measures the distance between the sensor and the material and determines the coil size and the remaining quantity on the roll. The sensor operates reliably in the harsh ambient conditions of the metalworking industry.
