Temperature Drift
The switching point changes in the event of changes in the ambient temperature within the permissible temperature range.
Sensors with switching output:
Temperature drift indicates maximum deviation from the selected switching distance caused by a temperature change. Temperature drift is specified as a percentage, always with reference to nominal switching distance Sn or the maximum setting range.
Sensors with analog output:
Temperature drift indicates maximum deviation from the measured value caused by a temperature change at room temperature (25 °C). Temperature drift is specified in mm/K or µm/K.
