Location-Independent Reading of 1D and 2D Codes on Control Units Using a 1D/2D Handheld Scanner with Bluetooth
At the end of production lines in the automotive industry, each product must be provided with individual codes and identified. For this purpose, adhesive labels with 1D and 2D codes are affixed to the control units and packaging, which contain information such as serial and batch numbers, versions, batch sizes, production data or information about the recipients. The wireless 1D/2D handheld scanners allow the code to be scanned anywhere. Decoding is confirmed by a visual, acoustic and haptic signal.
1D/2D Handheld Scanners
Handheld scanners read all 1D/2D codes omnidirectionally, regardless of location and background. Decoding is indicated by vibration, acoustic or visual signals. The adjustment option between the near and far range accelerates the scan rate or increases the detection range. In addition to wired scanners, Bluetooth scanners are also available.
