Presence Check of Biscuits in Packaging Machines with Reflex Sensors with Background Suppression
After cookies are made in the food industry, they must be separated, sorted and portioned before packaging. The presence of the biscuit stacks must be checked in the fully automated packaging machines. Mounted above the conveyor line, two compact reflex sensors with background suppression detect the irregular surfaces of the biscuits at high speed, switching frequencies of up to 1,000 Hz and regardless of the background condition. The sensors can be easily adjusted thanks to the visible red light.
Reflex Sensors With Background Suppression
Reflex sensors with background suppression detect and measure objects contactlessly and detect them in front of any defined background. They work with red light, infrared light, blue light or laser light. Thanks to the principle of angle measurement, the color, shape and object surface have no influence on the switching behavior of the sensors.
