Position Monitoring of Membranes on FFP3 Masks With Breathing Valve with Vision System
FFP3 masks must be monitored during the manufacturing process to ensure reliable function. During this process, it must be checked whether the integrated membranes are correctly inserted before the sealing caps are applied. The membrane must not protrude and must be flush with the frame. For this purpose, a vision system is installed which checks both the position and the diameter of the membrane. The system consists of a machine vision camera, an analysis module (control unit) and a ring light. If the tolerance is exceeded, the mask is rejected.
