Pick And Place of Baked Goods with 2D/3D Profile Sensors
After the manufacturing process, baked goods such as cookies are transported via a conveyor belt to the packaging station. A 2D/3D profile sensor is installed above the conveyor belt to determine the exact location, position and presence of the baked goods on the belt. The sensor in the stainless steel housing with IP69K degree of protection measures the baked goods with micrometer accuracy and forwards the coordinates to the downstream robot grippers via an external evaluation software. These grippers pick up the unsorted baked goods from the conveyor belt in the exact position and then line them up precisely in the plastic trays.
2D/3D Profile Sensors Stainless Steel
2D/3D profile sensors measure objects 360° all the way around, precisely control the positions of robots and inspect surfaces with micrometer accuracy. The weCat3D stainless steel model is particularly suitable for cleaning-intensive washdown areas.
