When filling different types of spreadable cheese, it must be ensured that the correct lid and logo are applied to each packaging. As the varieties are changed several times a day, there must be no confusion between the lid and the contents. For this purpose, a vision system is installed on the conveyor belt, which checks and compares the lids during operation from above using a camera. Hundreds of tests can be performed automatically every minute – regardless of their position on the conveyor belt.

Vision Systems

Vision systems solve complex image processing applications. They consist of up to 16 machine vision cameras with C mount lenses, external illumination and a machine vision controller. The suitable software offers numerous evaluation options and a wide range of interfaces make connectivity easier.
