Hygiene Area
What is the hygiene area in the food industry?
The hygiene area corresponds to the food area in accordance with DIN EN 1672-2.
It includes all surfaces that come into direct contact with foodstuffs and all surfaces from which the foodstuff returns to the product stream through run-off, drips, leaks or spills.
