In the production of hard cheese, it is important to ensure that the blocks of cheese are placed exactly on the conveyor belt. Laser distance sensors Time of Flight with wintec are able to detect the cheese blocks in a fresh, still shiny condition regardless of the positioned angle. To meet the requirements of the food industry, the sensors have a robust stainless steel 316L housing with IP69K protection class that is FDA-compliant. The devices are resistant to cleaning agents and ECOLAB-certified.

Laser Distance Sensors Time of Flight

Laser distance sensors Time-of-Flight (ToF) work according to the principle of transit time measurement, which means that they cover large working ranges up to 10,000 mm, so that objects can be reliably detected even at great distances. The ToF sensors are extremely robust against interfering ambient light, which ensures reliable operation.
