Accuracy

3D sensors: Accuracy is defined in VDI/VDE guideline 2634-2 by means of sphere distance deviation. Sphere distance deviation is used to check the measuring system’s ability to measure length and to ensure traceability. Sphere distance deviation is defined as the difference between the measured value and the calibrated value of a distance between the centers of two spheres.
