360° Code Scanning on Canned Foods with Multiple 1D/2D Code Scanners

For the traceability and identification of canned foods, all batches must be barcoded after the filling process. In order to reliably detect these codes on cans with different heights and diameters, regardless of the code position, the can is checked with 360° monitoring. Six 1D/2D code scanners are installed around the conveyor belt. All six scanners are connected to each other via Plug&Play and work in a daisy chain network. This means that they scan synchronously and at very high speeds.

1D/2D Code Scanners

1D/2D code scanners read printed, engraved, etched or directly marked codes at high speeds – regardless of the location, position or condition of the code. Data can be transferred via Industrial Ethernet and settings can be received via the intuitive user interface Weblink.
