Plastic Detection in Grated Cheese with B60 Smart Camera

After the manufacturing process, grated cheese is transported to the packaging station via a conveyor belt. To ensure that there are no plastic pieces between the cheese, two B60 smart cameras are installed at the end of the conveyor on each side. These cameras check the falling cheese for possible foreign substances. If blue plastic is detected, a pneumatic tray (chute) opens to remove the contaminated cheese. The B60 smart camera ensures reliable detection of plastic thanks to a high frame rate and short processing time.
