In the electronics industry, the quality of PCBs must be checked after assembly. For this purpose, a machine vision camera and a flat dome light are installed above the PCB, which checks the presence, position and orientation of the components. If faulty components are detected, they are sorted out. The 2D code is also read for correct identification and traceability of the PCBs. Thanks to the high resolution, even the smallest components on the PCB are reliably detected and evaluated.
