Pin Check in Plug Production via Dark Field Illumination
When manufacturing plugs, it must be checked whether the correct number of pins are present and whether these pins are in the correct position. For this purpose, dark field illumination, consisting of a modular ring light and a dark field attachment, is attached together with a smart camera at a short distance in front of the products to be tested. Due to the very low angle of incidence (60°) of the light output, the illumination ensures the dark field effect and thus optimal illumination of the pin tips.
Ring Lights
Ring illumination describes the shape of the illumination, constructed of a circular array of LEDs.
