Parcel Detection on Flexible Scissor Roller Conveyors Using Sensors for Roller Conveyor Systems
Flexible scissor roller conveyors in large logistics centers have high maintenance requirements and associated costs in continuous mode due to the high wear and tear of the drive round belts. The tracks also use large amounts of energy during uninterrupted use. Sensors for roller conveyors fitted between rollers, which can be configured without current via NFC, have an internal congestion logic for parcel detection. This enables unused track segments to be switched off, which greatly reduces belt wear, thus reducing maintenance costs, preventing congestions and saving energy.
